IDS operates an ISO Tank depot near Cai Mep port with these main service groups: interior and exterior cleaning, repair, refurbishment, conversion and inspection of ISO Tanks, plus on-demand services. Details of each service are on the Services page.

Exterior cleaning removes dirt and industrial residue and protects the surface coating. Interior cleaning uses the Cleaning System combined with integrated water treatment, air filtration, drying and steam supply. The goal is a tank that meets four standards:

• Clean
• Dry
• Safe
• Certified

The time depends on the cargo previously carried, the condition of the tank and the service required. The depot can clean several ISO Tanks at once (up to 5 tanks at the same time) with a capacity of up to 50 ISO Tanks per day. Please contact us for an estimated time for your tank.

IDS handles ISO Tanks used for many groups of liquid cargo, including sensitive residues. Acceptance is assessed by the cargo previously carried (chemical safety information, if available) to choose a suitable process. Please send the cargo name when you contact us for confirmation.

After cleaning, the tank is inspected against the Clean – Dry – Safe standard and comes with confirmation records for its next shipment. The specific type of certificate will be advised according to each cargo owner's requirements.

Yes. Besides cleaning, IDS carries out repair, refurbishment and inspection to return ISO Tanks to safe, stable operation. Our technical team has many years of experience running ISO Tank depots.

Services operate 24/7. The depot holds up to 1,000 ISO Tanks and is about 2 km from Cai Mep port, making tank pick-up and delivery convenient. Storage terms will be provided when you contact us.
