Service Agreement

This Service Agreement outlines the general principles applicable to services provided by International Depot Services Company Limited (IDS), including ISO Tank cleaning, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, modification, and technical inspection support.

IDS aims to establish transparent business relationships in which the service scope, technical requirements, responsibilities, and operating conditions are clearly agreed upon before work begins.

These terms should be read together with the relevant quotation, service order, contract, or other written arrangements confirmed by the parties. In the event of inconsistencies, the applicable order of precedence shall be determined by the signed agreements and relevant law.

1. Scope of Services

IDS provides ISO Tank depot services according to its technical capabilities, service acceptance conditions, and customer requirements.

Services may include ISO Tank cleaning, repair and maintenance, refurbishment, modification and customization, technical inspection support, and other related activities as agreed.

The specific scope of work depends on equipment condition, cargo characteristics, technical specifications, and applicable safety requirements.

The availability of a service description on the IDS website does not guarantee acceptance of every ISO Tank, cargo type, or technical request.

2. Service Requests and Confirmation

Customers may submit service inquiries through the website, telephone, email, or other official IDS communication channels.

Upon receiving an inquiry, IDS reviews the available information and discusses service feasibility, proposed procedures, expected scheduling, and relevant costs.

Submitting an inquiry through the website does not automatically establish a contract or confirm IDS's acceptance of the requested service. Work proceeds once the necessary conditions have been agreed upon through a quotation, service order, contract, or another appropriate confirmation method.

Any additional work outside the agreed scope must be discussed and confirmed before implementation.

3. Customer Information and Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information required to assess, receive, and service ISO Tanks.

Relevant information may include the ISO Tank identification number, previous cargo, remaining residues, equipment condition, maintenance history, and applicable technical requirements.

For tanks previously used to transport chemicals or other potentially hazardous cargo, customers must provide relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and supporting documentation when requested.

Customers must also have the necessary legal authority or permission from the equipment owner or operator to request the relevant services.

Incomplete or inaccurate information, or failure to meet applicable safety requirements, may result in additional assessments, scheduling changes, or the inability to accept the service request.

4. IDS Responsibilities

IDS performs services within the agreed scope using methods appropriate to the equipment characteristics and applicable technical requirements.

During service delivery, IDS emphasizes workplace safety, suitable equipment, and communication with customers regarding issues that may affect service quality or scheduling.

If additional damage or safety concerns are identified, IDS will communicate with the customer to determine appropriate next steps before performing work outside the original scope.

Where statutory inspection or specialized certification is required, the relevant activities and certificates must comply with applicable regulations and the authority of the organizations involved.

5. Quotations, Fees, and Payment

Service fees are determined according to the scope of work, ISO Tank type, equipment condition, technical requirements, and actual operating conditions.

IDS provides quotations for customer review before service confirmation. Additional costs, including storage, specialized treatment, replacement parts, or extra work, are subject to confirmed quotations and agreed arrangements.

If an inspection identifies further work, IDS will discuss the additional scope and associated costs before proceeding, unless otherwise permitted or required under applicable law or a valid agreement.

Payment methods, payment deadlines, taxes, and supporting documents follow the relevant contract, quotation, or agreed payment terms.

6. Service Scheduling and Equipment Handover

Service completion times depend on the required work, ISO Tank condition, depot availability, and relevant technical factors.

Tank reception and handover schedules are coordinated between IDS and the customer. Where changes arise due to additional requirements, safety conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, IDS will communicate with the customer to determine appropriate arrangements.

Upon completion, the work is inspected and recorded according to the agreed service scope. Customers are expected to cooperate with the handover process and raise any issues in accordance with the applicable service arrangements.

7. Feedback, Complaints, and Dispute Resolution

IDS accepts feedback concerning service quality, completed work, pricing, or equipment condition after handover.

Customers are encouraged to provide the ISO Tank identification number, service documentation, and supporting information to facilitate the review.

Issues are assessed according to the agreed terms, service records, relevant evidence, and applicable law. Corrective responsibilities, costs, and resolutions are determined based on the assessment and the parties' contractual arrangements.

IDS prioritizes direct communication to seek appropriate solutions while respecting the lawful rights and interests of all parties.

8. Confidentiality and General Provisions

IDS and its customers are responsible for appropriately handling technical, commercial, and other relevant information exchanged during their cooperation.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the IDS Privacy Policy and applicable law. Specific business confidentiality obligations follow any relevant contracts or separate agreements.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in service operations or legal requirements. Changes affecting existing contracts are managed according to the applicable agreements and law.
